Early Childhood Development

Vulnerable Calgarians thrive.
We build stronger families. Our programs help people work through their issues, so they can move forward and live the live they've always wanted.
The CPAA provides programs and services and collaborates with others within the disability community to enrich the lives of children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities; advocating, promoting awareness, acceptance and understanding to build a strong, supportive community.

We believe kids have what it takes and that all students deserve to learn the skills of success. By partnering with teachers to pair Olympians and Paralympians with classrooms, we work to help students realize their potential, set goals and dream big.

Empowering Families to Stay Together
We’re a charitable trust, established by the Calgary Board of Education Trustees in 2003, to support excellence in Calgary’s public school system and provide students more opportunities to succeed and excel. We support innovative public education enhancement programs, which enrich core curriculum.
We help some of Calgary's most disadvantaged children, who suffer from trauma, abuse and poverty. These kids (aged 3-5) are 70 per cent delayed from peers. We close these developmental gaps, and give these children a more Even Start by the beginning of Grade One.
Touring Show
We are a touring educational, environmental, science based, theatre company for young audiences. As part of our mandate we promote the arts through space provision to artists and the greater community. We offer cost-effective spaces and programming with the highest functionality possible.
Green Kids Program
Green Calgary is a leading environmental charity that engages and empowers Calgarians to create healthy homes, communities, and businesses by providing environmental education, products, services and hands-on support.
