Calgary’s youth are improving our world, one science fair project at a time - from reducing environmental toxins to exploring safer travel with adaptive wheels. The Calgary Youth Science Fair helps students discover passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Who will find and develop the resources society needs when we can no longer use petroleum or minerals? How will we heat our homes or drive our cars? We educate people about the critical role geoscience plays in our lives.
Zambian Mary Banda is a certified biosand filter technician and has helped thousands of people access safe drinking water.
We are tackling the global drinking water crisis in the only way that is truly sustainable: by building the knowledge and skills of local populations to meet their own needs. Through this model, we have helped 11.4 million people access better water or sanitation in 78 countries.

Ducks Unlimited Canada
We connect people to nature and a healthier world through wetland conservation. We use expert science and partner with others to conserve marshes, ponds and bogs across Canada. These critical areas provide clean water and habitat for waterfowl and wildlife, including species at risk.

We are a touring educational, environmental, science based, theatre company for young audiences. As part of our mandate we promote the arts through space provision to artists and the greater community. We offer cost-effective spaces and programming with the highest functionality possible.

By engaging the community through education and awareness, we strive to preserve this naturalized urban park that experiences over 3 million visits per year, for the enjoyment of all community members.

Working together to build trail culture - we develop opportunities and programs for individuals to experience Kananaskis Country through engagement and sharing. In partnership with Alberta Parks, we engage in the stewardship of Kananaskis for current and future generations.
