FRSN’s most pressing need is to expand and sustain programs that support individuals and families facing economic insecurity, unemployment, and unsafe living conditions. Many of the people we serve—including newcomers, women, and children—experience significant barriers such as lack of stable housing, limited access to employment opportunities, and exposure to domestic violence.

Donation dollars will directly support FRSN’s priority program areas in the year ahead:
• Emergency Shelter & Safety Support: Funding will help provide safe, temporary shelter for women and children fleeing domestic violence, including basic necessities, referrals to counselling and legal supports, and assistance transitioning to stable housing.
• Employment & Skills Development: Contributions will support job readiness training, workforce skills development, and employment support services that help participants achieve economic independence.
• Case Management & Wraparound Services: Donations will enable individualized support, including career navigation, referrals to community resources, and ongoing follow-up to ensure long-term stability.
• Program Coordination & Capacity: Funding will strengthen staffing, program delivery, and operational systems to meet growing community demand.
