The ASCN: Calgary Hub is thrilled to invite practitioners and enthusiasts alike to come together, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and community building within the Art for Social Change Network.

This networking event aims to create a dynamic space for practitioners to connect with one another, bridging gaps and forging relationships within the Art for Social Change community. Whether you’re an artist, activist, or simply passionate about social change through art, this is an opportunity to engage with like-minded individuals and explore potential collaborations.

Light snacks and complimentary soft drinks will be served. A cash bar will be available.

Registration is required as capacity is limited. This event will be held at The Alcove Centre for the Arts. Find more parking and transit information below.

Things to Know

Parking: Affordable parking is located at: TD Core’s Underground Parkade (745 4 St SW, Calgary, AB T2P 4K9). It has free 3-hour parking after 3pm on Weekdays, and a flat rate of $2 for longer. There is free 3-hour parking all day on Weekends, with a $2 flat rate for longer.

Transit: The Alcove is located across from the 3rd Street Station.

Accessibility: There are no steps to enter the Alcove from the main/front door entrance on the corner of 7 Ave & 2nd Street! There are 2 washrooms. They do not have a step, and include both a toilet and sink in each. However, they aren’t wide enough to be certified wheelchair accessible.

The display cases, music recording studio and volunteers room have stairs to access rooms.
