All donations support EAR’s Emergency Relief Funds which provide assistance to any individual professional artist residing in Calgary and area who is in urgent need due to an unforeseen medical emergency or other catastrophic event.

EAR provides practical resources to artists of all disciplines in the Calgary region in order to help sustain their well-being and livelihood and, in turn, contribute to a vibrant cultural sector. As a unique service organization, EAR builds creative capacity and fills a role not duplicated by any other agency. The society envisions a healthy arts community that ensures a continued rich cultural landscape for us all.

EAR achieves this by providing programming and support to artists of all disciplines.  EAR’s programming includes Emergency Financial Relief funding, personal care resources, professional practice programming, peer to peer support network, and access to group health insurance.
