Requesting $7000000

charity

The HRPAF is leading the development of a 12000 sq ft accessible, inclusive and collaborative, creative and performing arts hub to advance the appreciation of the arts and provide a public amenity to those living in and travelling through High River and the Foothills region of Southern Alberta.

The Venue will be an economic driver to the town of High River while providing entertainment, inspiration, education and mentorship opportunities to seniors, adults, teens and children from all cultural and economic backgrounds.

Professional and emerging arts entrepreneurs will thrive with access to purpose built facilities, professional equipment and increased opportunities to learn, perform, create and collaborate.

This project provides a much needed arts centre for professional and emerging artists while also providing a space for children, youth, adults and seniors to gather, learn, be inspired and find ways for arts and creation to improve their mental health.  This collaborative hub will provide local and travelling artists with access to the shared space, equipment and mentorship needed to develop the ability to thrive in, and contribute to, the creative economy.

Donate to our Capital Campaign to provide a creative and performing arts in High River and for everyone in Foothills County.  The Venue will be High River’s first carbon neutral and climate resilient building. It will meet the Rick Hansen Foundation GOLD Accessibility Certification standard and WELL Certification standard to create a healthy space for patrons, workers and volunteers.
