With the many unanticipated economic closures due to COVID-19, the Rocky Mountain Eagle Research Foundation (RMERF) lost volunteers as well as fund raising event cancellations. The lack of both the anticipated visitors to the site and cancellation of events where fund raising typically occurs severely limits the immediate RMERF operating expenses payments. Without relief funding, we will not be able to reimburse our observers and more importantly pay Migration Coordinator. This role is a continual relations role with all interested and concerned public who are our citizen scientists, host and management of our research information, the continual retention of experienced volunteer observers; also the liaison with the AB Parks relative to Covid. The total costs of 8 weeks for a Principle Observer and an Assistant Observer from March 2020 to May 2020 is $12,600. The cost for Coordinator is $15,000.
