Too many Albertans are forced to give up a family pet because they cannot afford veterinary treatment. Tails of Help provides aid to Alberta pet owners facing financial hardship whose companion animal requires essential veterinary care. Essential care is treatment without which the animal will die or require humane euthanasia or cause undue suffering to the pet.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the request for our services has doubled. Your donation will help reduce the burden on animal shelters and humane societies by keeping pets healthy and with their loving families.
**In addition to the above populations, we also serve disabled Albertans receiving AISH (Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped), Alberta Works recipients (reduced income due to injury or job loss), and low income families.
