Rowan House Society provides domestic violence and abuse prevention and intervention services to communities in southern Alberta, specifically Foothills County, the MD of Willow Creek, and Vulcan County. In doing so, we work to fulfill our mission, we are here to break the cycle of domestic violence and abuse in our communities and our vision, we aspire to compassionately erase domestic violence and abuse. We do this through various supports and services within our seven core programs:
1. 24-Hour Support Line
2. Emergency Shelter Program
3. Children’s Program
4. Preventative Education Program
5. Outreach Program
6. Court Support Program
7. Safe at Home Program
Your support will help ensure families have their basic needs met while in shelter; as well as provide the women, youth and community members with vital prevention and education to continue to break the cycle of domestic violence and abuse.
(Rowan House serves a large rural area from the city of Calgary border, south to Claresholm, east to Vulcan and west to Bragg Creek/Redwood Meadows.)
