COVID-19 has caused massive needs to the Indigenous community. The donation will support the following areas of need; food security, including baby food and diapers, mental health issues, coupled with trauma, cultural and spiritual support, and feelings of loneliness due to social distancing and self isolation. The Indigenous Task Force, supports Calgary’s most vulnerable by making/distributing food and nonfood hampers, provides an Elder hotline and a support line to direct callers to supports.
