Founded in 1995, Oxford House Foundation of Canada is a non-profit organization that provides peer-supported sober recovery homes for men and women who have a history of substance abuse and are homeless or at risk of homelessness. By providing a safe and stable environment where men and women can focus on their recovery, Oxford House supports individuals to develop the skills necessary for self-sufficiency and successful reintegration back into society. Oxford House has 28 recovery homes operating in Calgary, Edmonton and Drumheller.
Due to an increased demand in services, support and supplies, we are working tirelessly to keep residents safe and supported while adhering to, and continually monitoring COVID-19 protocols including proper hygiene, social distancing and isolation processes.
We are also working with treatment centres to quickly find creative ways to provide sober housing safely and as efficiently as possible for men and women who will be completing their treatment in the days and weeks to come.
All donations will go toward the on-going operations of Oxford House, disinfectant wipes, paper towel, toilet paper and hand soap for our sober homes across Alberta.
