The true story of a Rosebud student’s courageous journey from an orphanage in Haiti to a new life in Canada, told through music, poetry, and dance. Every ticket supports Rosebud theatre students on their study trips to Canada’s West Coast and London, England!
“Say Hello, Wave Goodbye offers audiences a unique and personal perspective on the struggles and triumphs of one young woman searching to find her place in the world”, said Deanne Bertsch, who devised and choreographed the show. Through powerful movement and thought-provoking poetry, the show explores themes of identity, family, and the human spirit. The movement on stage is supported by a live band playing the music of David Gray.
The show runs February 10th & 11th with performances at 1:30pm & 8:00pm each day. Tickets are $63.00 and include a buffet meal at the Rosebud Mercantile. The buffet opens at 11am for matinees and 5:30pm for evenings.
