Join us to view the Honouring the Children exhibition and meet some of the artists! We will start with a traditional smudging, a blessing by Elder Marilyn Shingoose, and then the artists will share about their work and how it relates to residential schools and sixties scoop. We will also have some snacks and refreshments. This event is free and open to the public, but you are welcome to give a donation to the CIF Reconciliation Society.

As we have 13 artists participating in this exhibition, we have 2 artists’ receptions – check out our event on Sept 14th if you want to meet all of the artists!

At this reception, you will have the opportunity to meet Tory Manywounds, Amber Boyd, Danielle Piper, Priscilla Boulay, Flora Johnson, and Dale Swampy.
