Equity Deserving Community Led

We’re seeking funding for a part-time salary for our lead facilitator and program coordinator, along with materials to operate our year-round programs. This allows us to tell stories that help us heal forward, together.

We create moments like:
– supporting vulnerable children at community events by providing games to find joy and regulate their emotions,
– helping Indigenous parents learn Blackfoot while supporting their children’s healthy brain development, and
– our 3rd annual mini-mental wellness festival which promotes our local mental health ecosystem and mental health literacy outside of a crisis or referral.

We have a working partnership with Google for NonProfits and Google Ads, researching and developing how Calgarians talk about mental health online (what terms are they searching for?), as well as are part of the Family Engagement in Research Winter Cohort to improve how we can frame our events to capture more participatory research data.

Currently, we are volunteer-run and attain project funding to establish our pilot projects.
