We are now feeding more than 2,500 kids over the weekends in approximately 83 schools in 5 provinces across Canada offering more than 450 000 meals to kids who face food insecurity.   However we are just scratching the surface and need more help to cover our demand. We have at least one school  in urgent need of our program in Calgary.Only 120 dollars feed a child for the whole school year; our programs are operated by volunteers who pack bags of food every Friday so kids can take this bag of food and eat over the weekends in order to come back to school on Monday ready to learn. The type of food varies in each location, but generally, we provide: Granola bars, non-perishable food and some produce like: apples, potatoes, carrots and/ or bananas.

We plan our budget every September when the school year starts according to the number of kids in need of our Program. We have partnered with a large Food corporation and we pay for food in advance, so they can ensure they can cover our shopping list every week for the kids in our Program. In terms of funding, we only rely on Corporate and individual donations.We only rely on Corporate and individual donations that would sponsor schools,  so donations help us create huge impact.  We are currently seeking for a sponsor for one of our schools in Calgary, that has at least 60 kids in need of our program. It only takes 120 dollars to feed each child for the whole school year.
