Conquer Limitations

Synaptic supports people living with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, MS, Parkinson’s, stroke, and other neurological conditions through accessible, community-based neurological rehabilitation.

Neuro-rehabilitation is complex and highly individualized. Care may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, respiratory therapy, massage therapy, mental health support, acupuncture, and neuro-supportive nutrition. Many people require multiple therapy sessions each week over extended recovery periods.

Much of this level of ongoing, specialized rehabilitation is not available through the public healthcare system. Synaptic exists to provide care that people would otherwise go without.

The cost of delivering quality rehabilitation is high. Synaptic works to keep direct client costs as low as possible because most people are personally funding their ongoing treatments.

How donations create impact:

The actual cost to deliver one hour of rehabilitation is $195. Clients pay $115, and donations cover the remaining gap. Your support ensures cost is not the reason someone reduces or stops therapy.

Your donation helps provide:

  • Financial support that keeps therapy affordable for clients
  • Ongoing, coordinated care for complex and progressive neurological conditions
  • Equipment maintenance and upgrades that support safe, effective therapy
  • The charitable funding that allows Synaptic to operate and provide this care

A donation of $195 supports one full hour of therapy.

Together, we help people Conquer Limitations and strengthen our community, one therapy session at a time.

If this cause resonates with you, we invite you to donate in support of accessible neuro-rehabilitation.
