Register today to join Social Venture Partners Calgary virtual lunch and learn, Data and Tech for Social Impact, on February 15th.
Technology is transforming our world – for better and worse. Bending the arc toward generating social benefits will largely hinge on our ability to design, implement, and control technology in ways that are ethical, inclusive, open, and sustainable. We need to work towards developing a collaborative approach to technology that is driven by the need and opportunity to improve social impact. It means bringing together social innovation with technological innovation.
Calgary is part of this emerging worldwide movement that is focused on the innovative use of data and technology for digital transformation and social good. This session will provide SVP Calgary Partners an overview of the innovation ecosystem and resources that can be used in projects with nonprofit / social organizations. Leveraging local experience, practical examples and lessons learned will be shared from Data for Good, IncluCity Calgary and the Centre for Social Impact Technology.
