A gathering will be taking place May 5, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm in Calgary for family members, allies, and survivors of Murdered, Missing, & Exploited Indigenous Peoples (MMEIP. This is inclusive of all people, all genders, non-binary, two-spirit, and includes trafficked and exploited people.
This event will uplift the stories and voices in tribute by family members of MMEIP and continue to acknowledge the location as the “Field of Red Ribbons”, with speakers, dancers, singers/drummers, prayers and families sharing and healing, and the hanging of red ribbons and red dresses. This gathering is to catch the tears and healing of all who gather from across Turtle Island.
