AARC’s 26th Annual Miracle Gala will be held at the BMO Centre’s Percheron Ballroom on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, and will feature a gourmet dinner, silent auction, and powerful stories of recovery from AARC graduates. The event will welcome over 500 caring citizens, members of the business and philanthropic communities, graduates, and alumni of our program.
“Growing up, I was a happy, outgoing, adventurous kid. I was involved in big mountain competitive skiing and was very proud of my accomplishments. My family was very loving and supportive throughout my childhood and I enjoyed being around them. In high school, things started to change when I started getting high. I became disconnected from my family and looked more to partying with friends. In Grade 12, my life took a turn for the worse and I started using drugs heavily every day. I no longer had a relationship with my family and sometimes I felt depressed and suicidal. I didn’t see any hope for the future and became very angry towards everyone and everything in my life. With support from the AARC staff and program, I have a second chance to succeed and pursue my goals and aspirations. I strive to be a better person each day and look forward to a new chapter in my life.” – Sean G., 2024 AARC Miracle Gala Graduate Speaker

The Alberta Adolescent Recovery Centre aims to ensure that no family is ever turned away from accessing treatment due to financial constraints.
We are excited to announce that all proceeds raised at AARC’s Miracle Gala will go directly toward treatment fee subsidization, further strengthening our ability to provide our vital addiction treatment services to any family who needs it. The stories from AARC graduates at this year’s event will showcase the incredible and life-saving impact your support can have on youth in need, sharing their own stories of recovery that would not have been possible without the unwavering support of compassionate individuals like you.
Together, let’s continue to keep the doors open and create a brighter future for youth and their families.
