Over the past 2 years, Diabetes Canada’s Pump Couture Fashion Show has travelled across the country, raising awareness about diabetes in a fun way. People with type 1 or type 2 walk the runway, while sharing their stories of what it’s like to live with the condition. We have welcomed more than 125 models and raised over $425,000 to support sending children with type 1 to one of Diabetes Canada’s nine D-Camps.

The impact:

The goal of Pump Couture is to not only change the conversation around living with diabetes, but this year, it’s also to raise $770,000 to support sending more than 300 children and youth to D-Camps where they can enjoy an authentic camp experience, learn to better manage their diabetes and make new friends.
