Join us on Friday, June 21st from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM as we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day in Nose Creek Park in Airdrie!
A day to recognize and celebrate the long history, heritage, culture and diversity of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples in our area.
This event is FREE and everyone is welcome!
Event will include Elder’s blessings, prayers, and stories, land acknowledgement from dignitaries, as well as live music and dance performances from a number of First Nations and Métis groups.
This event is made possible through a collaboration of the Circle Connections for Reconciliation, the City of Airdrie, and the Calgary Foundation.
LOCATION NOTE: Nose Creek Regional Park is located directly behind Nose Creek Valley Museum.
