SHADES: Amplify Her Voice is a film series by Humainologie that celebrates Black women and women of the Global Majority in Calgary, Alberta. The series features 5 different women in a collection of 15 mini films, ranging from 60-90 seconds, with every vignette amplifying their unique identities and stories. This is the first time that the full series will be screened to the public!
