Our work

The Alberta Whitewater Association is looking to enhance the Kananaskis Whitewater Park. We will be doing two things: building an adjustable wave for Surfing and Paddle Sports (Canoe/Kayak/SUP); and upgrading the rest of the whitewater infrastructure to be more flood resilient.

We are working with Canoe Kayak Canada, the Alberta River Surfing Association, the Lower Kananaskis River Users Association and Alberta Parks. The whitewater park is used for rafting, surfing, canoe, kayak, SUP and for the general public to enjoy. To date we have $210,000 in funding and require $100,000 more to fund the entire project.
