We have an increased demand from urban Indigenous populations requiring basic needs, cultural supports, and assistance to apply for COVID-19 financial relief. They face access barriers to resources provided for Indigenous populations due to living off-reserve and/or not being a registered member of an Indigenous/Metis community. We need additional funding for basic needs to support, cultural supports, agency operations, staff, and service delivery to assist them in stabilizing their situations.
