Our work

Black Pride YYC supports the Black 2SLGBTQ+ community by addressing key needs in mental health, education, arts, employment, and cultural celebrations. We provide culturally relevant mental health services, including workshops and therapy, to reduce stigma and support healing. Our education initiatives focus on career development, financial literacy, and higher education access, particularly for immigrant newcomers and marginalized groups. Through arts programs, we amplify Black queer voices, creating platforms for creative expression. We also work to improve employment opportunities by offering job readiness programs, networking, and mentorship. Also, we celebrate Black queer culture through events that foster pride and belonging. Donations will help us grow these essential programs, ensuring we meet the needs of our community and create a supportive, inclusive environment.
