Clayton Fernie Legacy is a Calgary-based registered charity created in memory of Clayton Fernie, whose love for hockey and helping others continues to inspire our work. We provide financial assistance for community hockey registration fees for youth from low-income families through Calgary Minor Hockey, helping children access opportunities they may otherwise miss due to financial barriers.

We believe every child deserves the chance to feel included, build confidence, develop friendships, and experience the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a team. Hockey provides more than just sport — it creates structure, mentorship, physical activity, and positive social connections that help children thrive both on and off the ice.
