Africa Centre is a community-based charitable organization that supports African, Black and Caribbean communities in Alberta to thrive through culturally grounded programs, services, and advocacy. Its mission is to enhance social, economic, and health outcomes by reducing systemic barriers and expanding access to opportunity. Africa Centre delivers programs that promote digital inclusion for seniors, youth employment and skills development, family and settlement support, health and wellness, and community safety. Through partnerships with local agencies, employers, and public institutions, the Centre advances equity, builds community connection, and ensures underserved populations can access services, develop skills, and participate fully in civic and economic life
