Every gift to KAYANOU helps preserve a history that would otherwise risk being lost. Since 2022, we have documented the living memory of Francophone communities of African and Caribbean origin in Alberta,  the stories of elders, migration journeys, and cultural contributions rarely told elsewhere.

Your support directly funds concrete projects: collecting testimonies from elders, an intercultural book fair that brings together hundreds of people each year, and bridges between Afro-Francophone and Indigenous communities built on dialogue rather than distance.
