The MindFuel Foundation (MindFuel) has been igniting passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) learning in Canada since 1990. We also made a significant foray into creating impact within Canada’s innovation ecosystem in the last 15+ years, as well as a youth talent referral into post-secondary and industry streams. MindFuel engages youth in STEM, including groups underrepresented in the innovation sector: girls, Indigenous peoples, and youth living in rural/remote areas to help bridge gaps in basic skills and bolster their interests in pursuing STEM educational pathways and careers.  

As young people journey through our programs, we spark their imagination, nurture self-confidence, build in-demand skills, and develop growth mindsets. We inspire them to explore boldly. Think critically. View challenges as opportunities. Become fearless problem-solvers. We prepare young people to create a brighter future.     

Program Streams:  

• Beginnings-to-Career – From foundational STEM learning (knowledge) to applied STEM in design thinking & solutioning (skills building) to advanced STEM productivity (creating prototypes) and professional development.   

• Advanced STEM Productivity – Youth move from idea-to-commercialization through immersive programming that facilitates learning and upskilling through workshops and events in ideation, prototyping, mentorship, and venture launch.  

• eLearning – Bringing STEM to life through interactive online tools that encourage deep engagement in STEM.  

• Professional Development – Educators are supported and provided with STEM resources to further support student success, including mentorship and co-teaching.
