This year, the Alberta Children’s Hospital turns 100 years old!
It’s a huge milestone – an opportunity to celebrate a tremendous history of caring for children and families made possible by people like you. We hope everyone will get swept up in the excitement. The hospital is such a source of pride for people in our community – as it should be – since your generosity helped make it the world-class hospital that it is today…and will continue to shape child health in the future.
As the official fundraising body for the Alberta Children’s Hospital, all money raised by the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation is re-invested in child health needs in the hospital and across the region. Through the generosity of our community, we can provide funding for family-centred child health programs, specialized life-saving equipment and advanced pediatric research and education at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
The Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation proudly serves as the primary charitable fundraiser for the Alberta Children’s Hospital and Child Health & Wellness Research at the University of Calgary. We also partner with Alberta Health Services and agencies in our community to support child health advancements across our city and province.
Our Vision: Best health, best future for all children and families.
Our Mission: Inspiring our community to invest in excellence in child health, research and family centred care.
With the support of our generous community, our work centres on funding crucial programs, technology and expertise so that even the most severely ill and injured children can benefit from compassionate world-class care today. At the same time, we also invest in innovative science to find new therapies and cures for a healthier tomorrow. Ultimately, whether young people turn to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, Rotary Flames House, the new Centre for Child & Adolescent Mental Health or our partners across Calgary, together, we can help every baby, child and teenager live to their fullest potential.
