ASPSH serves all Albertans to promote healthy relationships and sexuality. As a charity we rely on the services of one part-time staff under contract to support operations by administering online courses and connecting Albertans who reach out to ASPSH for sexual health information and access to services. All other operations and needs are met by the Volunteer Board of Directors and other community volunteers. Our major fundraiser, the 14th Biennial Conference on Sexual Health was scheduled for May 1 and 2, 2020 in Calgary. Due to Public Health Recommendations, this event has been postponed, leaving a severe gap in our general funds used to pay our one part-time contractor. Any funding would support the ability to pay our contractor, to match AGLC funds used for the other 50% of wages.
