During the COVID-19 crisis, The Alex continues to support Calgary’s most vulnerable with health, housing, and social supports. We are working hard to ensure continuity of our essential programming, which includes: social and basic needs supports; food and wellness programming; and physical and mental health services.

The health and safety of our community is our highest priority and we have made changes to the way we deliver our services. We have increased our outreach efforts to support community members with COVID-19 information, basic needs, outreach support, mental health supports, and social isolation check-ins.

The Alex is also building internal capacity. We are working tirelessly to adapt and create new ways of supporting our community, as we know the demand for our services will continue to grow.
