Cassa Musical Arts [Cassa] is an innovative network focused on supporting youth and young adults to achieve success in the musical arts. Cassa guides programming with diversity, equity and inclusion principles at the forefront. Cassa is looking for community support for our musical arts education programming in Calgary. Our community reaches creators from 7 years to adulthood, filling significant gaps in musical education and the capacity to build a viable practice along with pathways toward a sustainable career.
Cassa offers integrative programs in piano, guitar, musical theatre, staging arts, jazz (various instruments), songwriting and music composition. Cassa enables access for individuals experiencing barriers by providing bursaries and scholarships. What sets Cassa apart from other musical arts education organizations is in our commitment to mentoring young artists. Cassa’s collaborative methodology enables diverse community access to high-level industry professionals.

Your generous donations and sponsorship will help us to expand our program offerings and offer bursaries for students in need.

Sponsorship Opportunities:
– Sponsor an Educational Workshop for $1000
– Sponsor an Educational Concert for $3000
– Sponsor a Cassa Musical Arts program for $5000

Our Story
Cassa began as a charitable society dedicated to providing musical arts programming to students over the summer months. However our community wanted more. Cassa has expanded programming throughout the year and launched online workshops during covid shutdowns. Cassa has grown into a diverse and innovative community supporting the musical arts in Calgary and area.
Over 30 years, thousands of Calgarians from age four through adult have benefited from Cassa’s innovative programming and diverse community collaboration.

What We Currently Do
Dedicated to enriching lives through music and performing arts, Cassa programs are designed by award-winning specialists for all stages. Under the guidance of leading experts, Cassa’s integrative and immersive programs build high-level skills in musical arts through education and collaboration. Cassa involves the community in the benefits of effective musical training, ensuring access regardless of barriers.

Learning through highly qualified experts and a supportive mentored community, students develop their skills while discovering the tools, tactics, knowledge and opportunity to produce original musical arts creations, along with career exploration and innovative pathways for licensing musical works.
