Calgary Jewish Federation is in need of continued operations and organizational planning support over the next three months. Since COVID-19 was declared a pandemic, we have been convening weekly with our partner agencies via Zoom to assess their needs as they restructure programs and services, track how they are serving the community, and communicate this information to our stakeholders (including a townhall for major donors). At the onset of COVID-19, we swiftly moved all of our essential programs (children’s, engagement, support for persons with disabilities, and chaplaincy) to virtual delivery. A key function of ours is to disseminate information on programs and resources from our partners to the community. At the end of March, we collated our communications platforms into one central forum to disseminate key information on virtual programs and services from our partners as well as vital information on COVID-19 relief from government agencies and social services.
