The mandate of the Calgary Pro Musica Society (CPM) is to promote chamber music in the Calgary region. We believe that chamber music enriches the lives of all Calgarians and helps to develop talent in our youth.

Initiatives include:

• presenting chamber music concerts of the highest calibre by Canadian and International ensembles, diverse in period, style and instrumentation;

• making chamber music accessible and engaging for the public;

• promoting chamber music among youth through educational events;

• providing development opportunities for emerging artists;

• collaborating with other arts organizations to develop innovative, multi-disciplinary programming;

• facilitating the dissemination and creation of new chamber works

The Calgary Pro Musica Society strives to enhance Calgary as an important Canadian cultural centre.

Join us at our home at the University of Calgary’s Rozsa Centre for Music Up Close from September 2025 to May 2026.

We offer sixteen concerts featuring eight of the world’s leading chamber music ensembles as well as annual Family Concerts in collaboration with Green Fools Theatre and the Dick Matthews Young Artists Development Program Debut Concert. Please visit our website calgarypromusica.ca, sign up for our newsletter to receive information on concerts and special events, and stay tuned on Instagram and Facebook @calgarypromusica.
