The Canmore Museum looks for support in the areas of collecting, protecting and promoting our community’s culture and heritage, including our built, cultural and natural landscapes; in this work, we would welcome donations to support interpretive signage, heritage programs, and management of our collations. As a museum, we also collect works of historical or contemporary works of art related to Canmore and the Bow Valley for public exhibition; in this area, we welcome the donation of works of art along with financial support to purchase works (historical or contemporary) for our collections and for the conservation of artworks. Our school programming, including our new Museum@School program, builds on the innovative work of Gillian Kydd and the museum school concept by bringing the museum to the classroom and the classroom to our community; in this area, we welcome support for continued program development.
