I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I’m Makenna Williams, the Fundraising & Events Coordinator with Cerebral Palsy Alberta (CPAA). The CPAA is a registered non-profit that works to make a difference by enriching the lives of individuals in the disability community. Through our recreational & inclusive programs and support services, we promote awareness, acceptance and understanding for all Albertans young and old with disabilities to live a Life Without Limits.

The CPAA is hosting our 18th annual HUSH Gala, at the elegant Sheraton Eau Claire in downtown Calgary. The HUSH Gala is the CPAA’s largest fundraiser. All of the allocated funds from this event go directly to our essential programs and services. Our ambitious goal is to raise $150,000 at the event, but to do this, we need your help and hope we can count on the support of The Calgary Foundation as a media and events partner.

The HUSH Gala will be taking place on Saturday, October 5th at the elegant Sheraton Eau Claire Hotel – starting at 5:00pm.

This year’s theme was initially kept secret. We slowly released a new clue every two weeks, to reveal our theme of Austin Powers. We ask guests to get ready to groove back in time at the HUSH Gala, swinging into the 1960s! This annual bash brings together over 250 cool cats and chicks from Calgary’s business scene, influencers, and advocates. Step into the era of peace, love, and rock ‘n’ roll as we journey through the coolest decade in history. Our pad will be set with the swankiest vibes, guaranteeing an evening packed with far-out entertainment, a VIP Voodoo lounge fit for the hippest cats with smashing signature cocktails, a chef’s 3-course feast that’s sure to get your mojo going, and a chance to score fab finds in our live and silent auctions. This year’s HUSH Gala will be the talk of the town, leaving everyone feeling like they just cruised through the grooviest party ever!
