Elements Society is a non-profit organization that inspires youth through inquiry-based, interdisciplinary and action-oriented programming. Our goal is to equip young leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to create a sustainable world.
EcoCooks is our new, science-based environmental cooking program that is designed to inspire and inform students in grades 8-12 how to make sustainable food choices. By exploring fun, hands-on projects at the intersection of cooking and the environment, students are empowered to connect their choices in the kitchen with their health, the planet, and its inhabitants.
Our other program, Journey to Zero Waste/Voyage Zéro Déchet is a set of 3 interactive, virtual workshops where students learn how to reduce waste in their daily lives at home, at school and in their communities!
Our hope is to deliver these programs at no or low cost, so donations would go directly towards the supplies and staffing needed to facilitate engaging, high-caliber lessons.
