Our program, Connect to Wellness, will be implemented through a structured timeline, focusing on four key components: Campaigns, Counselling, Coaching, and Community Engagement, along with Capacity Building to ensure sustainability.
Pre-Grant (Mar – April)
• Engage with partner organizations, including universities and community groups, to establish collaborations.
• Identify additional funding opportunities to enhance program sustainability.
Post-Grant Phase
May – June:
• Recruit and hire a Program Manager to oversee the implementation and coordination of activities.
• Launch a Mental Health Awareness Campaign, providing education and training to targeted communities and organizations. This initiative will serve as an entry point to connect with individuals who may benefit from counselling and support services.
July – August:
• Recruit and onboard qualified counsellors to deliver professional mental health services for 100 clients.
• Establish and implement the Connect to Wellness Counselling Program, offering accessible support to individuals in need.
Sept – Oct:
• Partner with certified coaching professionals to design and facilitate coaching sessions.
• Offer coaching opportunities for counselling clients seeking to develop specific skills or advance in personal and professional growth.
Nov – Dec:
• Organize Community Engagement Programs tailored to groups identified through counselling and coaching.
• Implement activities such as group therapy sessions, wellness discussions, aerobics, nutrition programs, and art therapy to foster community connection, cohesion, and empowerment.
Ongoing Capacity Building (Mar– Dec)
• Strengthen organizational capacity by developing internal structures, processes, and partnerships to ensure program sustainability and future scalability.
This approach ensures that our activities are strategically aligned with the proposed budget and effectively contribute to improving mental health and wellness within the community.
