Fur-ever Homes Rescue works hard to help reduce the number of displaced animals in the community, this includes but is not only taking dogs from reservations where they are abandoned and left outside or owner surrenders from families no longer able to care for their animals.
Support from donors means we are able to continue this important work, we are able to provide much needed medical attention to the animals we rescue in order to rehabilitate them and ultimately prepare them for adoption. Some animals have much to complicated medical issues to be adopted publicly therefore they remain with the rescue in our hospice program until the end of their lives.
Additional funding is needed to support our operations, transportation of incoming animals, in some cases boarding, specialized procedures like chiropractors for rehabilitations, training or alternative medication for extreme behaviours. The rescue needs to purchase supplies like airline kennels, food, pet supplies and more.
