International Avenue Arts and Culture Centre’s (IAACC) mandate is to encourage and support the arts and the development and operation of a performance Centre in East Calgary. IAACC strives to provide opportunities for all artists, promotion of the arts and bringing a thriving arts community to East Calgary.
Through IAACC programming, artists receive the opportunities to further develop their discipline, learn new skills and have a safe place to have their work promoted.
Donations will go to funding these programs so anyone can participate to further grow.
Programs include (but not limited to):
*Artist in Residency Program – 4 month internship to learn new skills within a makerspace community,
*East Town Get Down – 1 day partnership event to permit musicians the opportunity to showcase their talents,
*Visual Arts Nights- one night per month attendees discover new techniques: painting, sculpting, crafting etc.,
* Writers Corner – writers given the opportunity to provide reading to the public in comfortable settings,
**IAACC hopes to develop more programs of all genres of the arts to be more inclusive of all talents., this can be achieve through gracious donations. Thank you for your support!
