Kickstand is a non-profit organization that serves young Albertans between the ages of 12 to 25 years old and will expand to offer support to families and caregivers soon through an integrated youth services (IYS) approach. Our virtual clinic, Kickstand Connect, provides free counselling, peer support, and employment services. We also offer capacity-building workshops that are facilitated by community partners, who donates their hours in-kind. Our funding goes towards ensuring that these services can be offered in a complimentary basis, so our young people can have access to affordable and immediate support. Your donation dollars will continue to be a major source of support to allow Kickstand to sustain these services. Kickstand is currently in the process of planning for the establishment of our first physical IYS centre in Edmonton as a part of our provincial IYS network, which will require major resources (both monetary and in-kind) to accomplish.
