Reaching Families provides critical bridge the gap food outreach support for Calgary and surrounding areas. This includes other outreaches, families, single parent homes, children through our lunch program, Indigenous populations and our Veterans. We also provide nutritional outreach for our area’s most vulnerable homeless population every Wednesday evening.
We have been doing this very important work and supporting our community for over 12 years.

We bridge the gap where so many are left behind in traditional Social Service budgets and Food Bank eligibility criteria. We also fill gaps for those facing access limitations, waiting periods and lack of dietary considerations.

We are in desperate and urgent need of monetary support and sponsorship so that we can continue to adapt to the unprecedented demand, and continue to deliver this essential program. We are also seeking skilled and passionate volunteers to support with day to day operations, fundraising, pick up and deliveries.
