The Roman Catholic Diocese of Calgary (Diocese) responds to the needs of the southern Alberta community in a spirit of authenticity, joy and service. We are hope-filled in assessing the current needs of the Diocese and in finding new and meaningful ways to work together and to show God’s love to his people .
The Diocese values stewardship in individuals, service groups, and organizations who assist in helping us achieve our mission and vision. We offer extensive programs and ministries (religious and non-religious) in a safe supportive environment to provide:
Prior to the pandemic, the Diocese was active in all of the aforementioned areas. During this time and the foreseeable future, our focus is on the well being of our vulnerable population. Specifically, those experiencing homelessness or poverty and helping them through Feed the Hungry and Elizabeth House, and for those who are in acute or long term facilities for their spiritual needs no matter their beliefs or practices through our Health and Pastoral Care Program.
The Diocese is active throughout southern Alberta and we cannot reach and assist our guests, clients, partners, clergy, parishioners, and the general public without your stewardship. Your gift provides the necessary services and ministry resources no single person or group could provide.
