STARS’ role during the COVID-19 pandemic will continue to include:
• Coordinate transport for critically ill patients
• Facilitate online COVID-19 medical consultations
• Educate medical personal on new policies and processes in airway management & ventilating patients with COVID-19
• Link EMS crews dealing with COVID-19 patients to on-line physicians

To help ensure our crews and patients safety we have purchased additional equipment as well as set-up a second Emergency Link Centre.
