StoryBook is a Calgary leader on driving the impact and importance of theatre arts in our community with a main directive in affecting the young people, the future of our community. StoryBook will engage nearly 60,000 Calgarians annually through one of our many forms of programming. What makes us unique is the value we place on never saying no to any child and making sure that all children, no matter the circumstance are afforded our programming. With more than $100K in in subsidized programming annually we are able to empower thousands of young people the chance to participate and be counted.
VISION STATEMENT
StoryBook Theatre will offer Calgary audiences quality theatre productions and theatre school programming at affordable pricing.
Shows and programs will be rated with an acceptable age appropriateness offering a vareity of shows and programs for the entire family, from 3 to 103 throughout each season.
Shows will offer amateur and emerging actors an opportunity to volunteer and learn alongside working theatre professionals enabling them to grow as performers and therefore offer our audiences both a quality and affordable theatrical experience.
Programs will be taught by theatre professionals and will place a strong emphasis on skills and the importance in being a positive and valued contributor to our community.
Programming will always account for making sure all children are accepted regardless of means in order to participate.

To provide Calgary with high quality family entertainment and theatre school programming at affordable pricing.Each year StoryBook offers a full season of productions for the whole family ranging in fun light hearted musicals to thought provoking plays. We also provide year round theatre school programs which allow students the chance to learn and grow in theatre arts. We have presented more than 5 world premier productions in the last 5 years and continuing to advocate and challenge our emerging artists by connecting them with a professional network of artists to further they career development.
