The Alice Sanctuary is a farm animal Sanctuary located in Wheatland county, close to Calgary, Alberta. Providing caring and healing to rescued, abandoned and surrendered farm animals. We have around 200 residents which include horses, cows, goats, sheep, pigs and feathered friends. Most of our residents are owner surrenders we also work with animal welfare agencies.

Our biggest annual expense in hay, which is the main feed for our cows, horses, goats and sheep. With the current drought, costs and scarcity of hay in the local area are a major concern for this year. Unfortunately we had to pull our herd off our pasture very early this year due to the drought conditions.
