The Magic of Christmas is a 100% volunteer, non-denominational charity based in Calgary.
For 38 years, we have relied 100% on community donations. We are seeking donations of any amount to support operations and program delivery for the 2022 Christmas season and beyond. Because of the pandemic, we have seen a drastic decline in our ability to fundraise. Donations allow us to deliver our programs. On Christmas Eve, volunteer Santa and Elves visit families at their homes who are coping with emotional, physical or financial issues. The families we visit must be referred to us. Families cannot refer themselves. Upon request, families will receive a food hamper.
We also visit hospitals, long-term care facilities, hospices, some shelters, and seniors’ residences where many are away from their loved ones and feel more isolated during the holidays.
We work hard so that each person has a magical experience of loving, caring and sharing.
