The Salvation Army Community Services (Calgary) offers hope through supportive services to strengthen our community.
The Salvation Army not only provides the necessities of life such as food, clothing and shelter, but our programs address needs such as addictions, language barriers, loneliness, unemployment and family challenges. Our services continually adapt to meet emerging needs. Today we have a Shelter and Transitional Housing (Spring 2025) to support women; Shelter, Transitional Housing, and Corrections Program for men; comprehensive family programming supporting children, youth, and parents; ESL classes and other services for newcomers; basic needs support for food security and infant needs; and an Outreach team to serve our neighbours experiencing homelessness.
