We are always looking for support for equipment purchased. Some examples of what our equipment costs look like are:
Multisport wheelchairs: Upwards of $5000
School chairs: Upwards of $2000
Wheelchair Rugby chairs: Upwards of $12000
Para Hockey sleds: Upwards of $1000
High Performance Wheelchair Basketball chairs: Upwards of $7000
Para Athletics Racing chairs: Upwards of $7000
Para Athletics Seated Throws chairs: Upwards of $2500

We also need support for our development camps for all 5 sports, as well as for our Provincial Teams that represent Alberta at National competitions.
We have several clubs in Calgary that would also benefit from direct support to help with the cost of facility fees, coaching fees, equipment costs, travel fees for competitions, hosting fees, and officials development.
We operate a wheelchair sports in schools program to offer wheelchair basketball, rugby, and tennis to schools in the Calgary area. We have a trailer but are currently renting vehicles, which is costly to us, as well as we employ a full time staff to operate this program. The more financial support we receive from the community for this program, the cheaper we are able to offer it to schools. We do prioritize our schools based on them having students living with physical disabilities, so these individuals get a chance to participate in wheelchair sports among their able body peers.
